Warranty Policy
This document sets forth the Warranty Policy of Gowell Synthesis Pte Ltd for LED Growth Light product branded and supplied only by Gowell Synthesis Pte Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Products) and as referred to in the Sales Agreement/Invoice.
This warranty policy is subject to provisions as set forth herein and is subject to the following terms and conditions
A. Warranty Period
1. The Gowell LED Growth Light products to the Purchaser is covered against Manufacturing Defects for the duration as stated in the invoice only commencing from the date of Invoice subject to the terms and conditions set forthwith.
B. Summary Warranty (Terms and Conditions – Non-exhaustive)
1. Proof of purchase (e.g. upon presentation of original invoice) must be made available for inspection by Gowell Synthesis Pte Ltd.
2. Products have been properly installed and operated in accordance with the Gowell Synthesis Pte Ltd’s instructions.
Limited Warranty
This warranty shall apply to only to LED Growth Light product only .
Gowell Synthesis warrants that each Product is free from manufacturing defects for the period stated above (para A1). If a product fails to operate in accordance with this warranty, fair wear and tear excepted, Gowell Synthesis will provide a replacement of the same or equivalent product subject to the applicable warranty policy and the limited warranty terms and conditions set forth below are complied with.
1. Terms and Conditions
Gowell Synthesis’s product warranty applies only to the Purchaser and not to third or other parties.
| 1.1 | If any Product covered by this warranty is returned by the Purchaser in accordance with Section 3 and within the warranty period set forth and upon Gowell Synthesis’s examination and satisfaction that such Product failed to satisfy this warranty, fair wear and tear excepted, Gowell Synthesis will at it option, repair or replace the Product or the defective part thereof or reimburse the Purchaser for the original purchase price only. |
| 1.2 | No agent, distributor, dealer or employee of Gowell Synthesis is authorised to change, modify or extend the terms of the limited warranty on behalf of Gowell Synthesis howsoever. |
| 1.3 | This limited warranty is applicable only when the Product has been properly wired and installed and operated within the electrical parameters specified for the product including inter alia, operating voltage, operating ranges and environmental conditions provided in the specification, application guidelines, IEC standards or any other documentation accompanying the Product. |
| 1.4 | The purchaser must notify Gowell Synthesis in writing that a product is not working according to specifications and must be returned to Gowell Synthesis within 3 working days. |
| 1.5 | Gowell Synthesis will facilitate technical resolution of the problems but will not accept responsibilities for the cost and expenses howsoever incurred in so doing. The warranty does not cover any installation costs |
| 1.6 | This warranty does not apply to damage(s) and/or costs or expenses howsoever incurred or caused by incorrect usage, inappropriate cleaning , excessive exposure to water, mishandling, unauthorised modification, unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse, incorrect wiring, unusual temperature or humidity, improper storage, negligence, use in violation of any applicable standard, code of practice or instructions of use relevant to the country, any other form of abuse, other extraneous conditions and Acts of God. |
| 1.7 | This warranty does not cover scratches, cracks or chips which should be reported within 24 hours of delivery |
| 1.8 | This warranty shall be rendered null and void forthwith in the event of any repairs or alterations are made to the Product by any person not duly authorised by in writing by Gowell Synthesis. |
| 1.9 | The manufacturing/production code and invoice date of the product must be clearly readable and Gowell Synthesis reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any claims. |
| 1.10 | At the option of Gowell Synthesis, any non-performing or defective Product shall be deemed Gowell Synthesis’s property as soon as a replacement has been supplied. |
| 1.11 | The warranty is only valid for products purchased, installed and used in the Singapore ony. |
2. Warranty Claims
All warranty periods mentioned are subjected to a Gowell Synthesis representative having access to the failed product or system for verification of non-compliance. Guarantee claims have to be reported and returned to the local Gowell Synthesis office within 3 days after discovery specifying at least the following information (additional info may be required on request):

Gowell Synthesis may charge Purchaser for returned Product that are not found to be defective or non-conforming together with the freight, testing and handling costs associated therewith.
3. No Implied or Other Warranties
| 3.1 | The warranty and remedies contained in the terms of the limited warranty are the only warranties given by Gowell Synthesis with respect to the Product and are given in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, which warranties are hereby disclaimed. |
| 3.2 | These terms and conditions state Gowell Synthesis entire liability and obligation to Purchaser and Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy in connection with defective or non-conforming Products supplied by Gowell Synthesis to Purchaser, whether or not explicitly mentioned in these terms and conditions, tort, contract or any other legal theory, even if Gowell Synthesis has been advised or is aware of such defects. |
4. Limitations and Conditions
| 4.1 | This is a limited warranty and excludes, among other items, cost of installation, providing access to products (scaffolding, lifts, etc), and special, incidental and consequential damages (such as loss of revenue/profits, damage to property or other miscellaneous costs not previously mentioned), and is further defined by the limitations and conditions set forth in the respective warranty policy and these terms and conditions. |
| 4.2 | Upon request, Gowell Synthesis’s representatives must be allowed to access the defective Product, for verifications of non-compliance. |
| 4.3 | Gowell Synthesis cannot be held liable for electrical supply conditions, including supply spikes, over-voltage/under-voltage and Ripple Current control systems that are beyond the specified limits of the products and those defined by relevant supply standards (e.g. EN50160 norms). |
| 4.4 | With respect to products sold to the Purchaser by Gowell Synthesis but not bearing the Gowell Synthesis name or sub-brands, Gowell Synthesis makes no warranty of any kind , express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, but will make available to the Purchaser upon request, but only to the extent permitted by law and relevant contracts, the warranties of the manufacturer of the relevant product. |
5.Claim Procedure
| 5.1 | Claims for defective product must be made within (6) months from invoice date. |
| 5.2 | Claims for missing parts must be made within 3 calendar days after the product is received. |
| 5.3 | Claims for scratches, cracks or chips which should be reported within 24 hours of delivery. |
| 5.4 | Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice |
| 5.5 | If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts whenever possible |
